Meet your Groomers

I have been grooming dogs for over 10 years. I started out volunteering at a salon in Knowle bathing and drying dogs, from there I enrolled on to a dog grooming course at Moreton Morrell College where I completed my City & Guilds Level 2 & 3. I became fully qualified in 2018 after gaining my OCN Level 3 Diploma, you can find me on the The Groomers Spotlight a directory of qualified dog groomers. I have worked in salons in Coventry, Birmingham, Solihull, Evesham, Stratford Upon Avon and the last few years I have been working in Leamington Spa.

I love learning and in this job that never stops, I look forward to attending courses and seminars to try and improve my skills as a dog groomer. I have started my journey to gain ICMG UK (International Certified Master Groomer) qualification. Training other aspiring dog groomers is something else I really enjoy and I hope that in time with the growing success of What the Pup this is something we will be able to offer.

The breeds I most enjoy grooming are Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, Cockerpoos/Cavapoos, Doodles and Terriers. I am no expert at any particular breed but I always try my best to meet customer expectations, and work to a high standard.

I don’t have a pampered pooch myself but I look forward to adopting hopefully in near future 

I have been around dogs all my life and some of the breeds present in our family over the years were: Jack Russell terrier, Boxer dog, St Bernard and multiple cross breeds. I started out horse grooming by travelling with show jumping horses around national and international shows- being based in Oxfordshire for over 5 years. From there I enrolled on to a Animal management course at Solihull College where I completed my Level 3 extended diploma. I became fully qualified groomer in 2020 after gaining my International Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming in Poland. I have worked in salons in Poland where I gained a lot of experience with various breeds and grooming styles.

I love learning and in this job that never stops. I look forward to attending courses and seminars to try and improve my skills as a dog groomer.
